Still Life: Studio Photos
I chose to photoraph Ms.Troutman's keys, locks, and her CVS extra care card. I love the way they all look together. Especially the pop of color with the turquiose lock. I love the look of cropping out some of the arrangment and only have it peeking out of the cornor in the photo. Not so traditional. I LOVE BRIGHT COLORS. So, the exposure in the pictures are higher to get much brighter photographs. I played around with the lighting alot for these pictures. They were waaaay too bright when I first started because they were about a millimeter away from the arrangment. In my opinion close up pictures are stronger. The amount of detailed captured when you're closer to the object is amazing, I love it! That's why I think my shallow-er depth of feild photos are stronger.

I found my still lifes in fruit! My mother set out about 8 or so, fake pears in my sitting room. I decided to photograph them because their pop or green is refreshing and their shae is so interesting! I think the tops of he pear are fun to look at, so I made sure to make them the vocal point in each photo. I didn't really arrange the in a certain order. I would just mess he pears have been in my living room ever since I can remeber. It's always fun to trick people into trying to take bite of them.
