For my Portfolio, I chose my make-up as the subject. I love doing make up. I love the way people look when their make up's done. I love the feeling of getting all dolled up. Make-up pallettes are so ordinary but the colors are so vivid. The textures of every make up tool are fabulous. I got super close to my subject to make sure I got as much detail as possible. I also used depth of field to make the closer pallettes in focus and everything else fade into a blurriness. I took a few photos without a background, and I really didn't like how busy it was. SO. I looked for a clean white background, and found my bathtub! I put things like my mascara on the edge of the tub and got really cool angles of the white background. It got cool depth of field actually, without the business of everything else in the world. Because it's all white but you can see where the ledge drops off.
