Self Portrait
In every single one of my photos I used up the ten second timer to run to the other side of the camera. My mom was too kind to lend me her tripod for the evening, even though she only uses it once a year for our family Christmas picture, Half the pictures are in my room, the cute obnoxious green walls are all mine. Those were at about 10 o'clock at night, so the only sources of light were the flash and the dim ceiling light. The other pictures were in my downstairs hallway, in the afternoon. I adored the natural light streaming in from all the windows (behind, ontop, infront, whatnot). I chose everything I was doing to be as absolutely creative as I could in the little space I was in. When I was wearing the moccasins, I LOOOOOVED the movement that the fringe made. So i karachop kicked at the camera, and it came out glorious. Except for my face, I could not stop laughing at myself so my face looked so silly! I almost cropped my face out, but decided that took character out of the photo and there it stays.
